Calculate equal principal instalments and reducing-balance interest for an MSME term loan.
Principal Equally Distributed (PED)
The repayment tenure begins after any moratorium. Interest is calculated monthly on the opening balance. Principal is paid in equal instalments at the selected frequency; interest is paid monthly.

How PED works
Equal principal per instalment = loan principal ÷ number of principal instalments. Monthly interest = opening principal × annual interest rate ÷ 1200. Principal instalments are evenly spaced through the agreed tenure. For quarterly or longer frequencies, interest-only payments occur in intervening months.
Note: Figures use monthly reducing-balance interest, not daily-product bank interest. The last principal instalment absorbs rounding. No processing fees, GST, rate changes or prepayments are included.
